I’m pretty sure we’ve all had experiences that felt exactly this way:
(via Huffington Post)
We’ve all been there, pup. Stay strong. (On a related note, now I can’t stop singing “Opposites Attract” – and now you probably won’t be able to either. Sorry.)
HeeHee, yep, been there not done that!
What's that dog's name, Sisyphus????
Oh, we've all had those days! That poor dog! I couldn't help giggling, too!
Nooooooes! *refuses to be infected by the earworm*
Ha ha- too funny 🙂 My dog doesn't like when we laugh at her . . silly girl!!
Hah, very funny. He finally got it on the grass!
The look on his face in the one shot was priceless – like, "Really? It fell in again???" And to be laughed at, oh the humiliation of it all! What a good sport to entertain us! And, oh boy, do I have days just like that! Bravo, pup!
oh my, that was funny. … poor doggie is all, WTH??
Bless him!!! I am so glad he finally got the rock on the grass. I don't think I could have coped if the poor guy has gone in headfirst again.
If at first you don't succeed – try, try, try again.
What a good dog. (But if the LOTH had been there she would have had to help him, she says)
Love and licks, Winnie
Now that is perseverance! I admit I would have given up after the 3rd time it fell in the water. I have to admire the sheer stubbornness of this dog. Never give up, he teaches, even when you've failed a dozen times, because the 13th time might be the moment of brilliance.
I'm glad that, when that happens to me, I don't have Large Beings standing by to laugh at me. Maybe that's the definition of the cosmic joke…
That is a determined dog!!! I'm glad he got it on the grass!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
Life Student – I had the same thought!
houndstooth – I hope you managed to evade the Paula…
Winnie – I'm with the LOTH. I would have been compelled to help.
Kristine – So true!
Edie – Agreed. I don't need people witnessing and filming my humiliation!
Ha ha, that poor pup! I think after the first time it rolled back in, Koly would have been like "screw this, let's go grab a snack!"
That poor guy BOL! I was so happy when he finally took it to the grass 😀 Those head first dives were something! Too funny 🙂
Waggin at ya,
Roo
Awww, that's not (hehe) funny!
The Road Dogs
AND he deserves a bit fat meaty bone after all that work!
The Road Dogs
OMG that is hilarious, poor guy!!
Okay, I nearly just wet myself imagining that man wetting himself while filming that dog's arse sticking straight up out of the water. I'd have dropped the camera into the flipping pond!
Koly – so would Bella. She doesn't have much of an interest in chasing tennis balls!
Roo – me too. I felt so bad every time it rolled back in.
Road Dogs – I agree. he earned a treat!
Elizabeth – So true!
