Well, it’s finally happening. I set a goal for myself in January – to move the blog to a self-hosted WordPress site by June. June is right around the corner… and thanks to my tech-savvy hubby, I will be making the move this weekend!
So, if all goes well, you’ll be able to find me at www.wantmorepuppies.com, starting this weekend. (If you go there now, it’s very much a work in progress. Patience, grasshopper.) In theory, this site will redirect you to the new one once it’s ready to go, but I wanted to give you the new address just in case.
My fingers are crossed that all of my posts (and especially your awesome comments) survive the move intact. If you’re a feed subscriber, the plan is to transition without disrupting your subscription – I’m all out of fingers, so I’ll cross my toes on that one.
There will be more changes to come, as I play with design elements and the like – so I hope you’ll bear with me once we make the move!

Love what I see so far of the new look. Good luck on last minute tech glitches. And hope Bella keeps going such a great job as a helper. It sure beats barkies at just the “right” moment.

There were a few technical glitches (for example, we lost some comments and other comments posted a bunch of times), but not terrible. Bella continued to help by sleeping.
I’m so excited for you! It’s a lot of work in the beginning, but I was so happy that I did it after all was said and done. You’re already added to my Google reader so I don’t miss the fun!

I moved over to WP a little bit ago and I hate it! Mostly that’s because I don’t understand most of it. I’m sure it’s just me and you’ll love it. (I have no idea how to add followers and follow others on WP so I’m constantly going back to blogger!) Good luck with the change and once I figure it out I’ll be sure to follow you over there.
