As I recently mentioned, I’m well behind on my monthly roundups. However, let’s just consider this belated October installment an early Christmas gift. (By that logic, I’m actually ahead of the game.)
Anyway, I believe that Buddy the Elf would totally support me sharing these posts guaranteed to make you smile. Enjoy. If you need me, I’ll be enjoying selections from the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.
- Monday Mischief: The Coyote in the “Window” from Pooch Smooches – When a dog meets televised coyotes, cuteness ensues.
- Dog a Day Project: The Dinner Bell from Doggie Stylish – This one is so Bella.
- Did you learn a lesson Kolchak?! from Kol’s Notes – A dog trying to scam two breakfasts? I can relate.
- Blog the Change: Reasons Not to Adopt a Cat from Rescued Insanity – Before this post, I had no idea that cats were behind the photobombing movement.
- If Dogs Planned Road Trips from Something Wagging This Way Comes – Puns!
- The War on Floof Continues from How Sam Sees It – I cracked up while reading this one. I also just like saying “floof.”
- Instant Stress Relief: Awesome Penguin is Awesome from Pawcurious – Yes. Just… yes. Awesome post is awesome too.
- Have a Catabulous Caturday from CindyLu’s Muse – There’s a video full of great cat moments. How could it not make this month’s list?
- If I Only Had a Brain from My Brown Newfies – These photos are just the best.
- Blog the Change for Animals – adopt a “less adoptable” pet from Grinch Paws – In addition to the fact that I’m a sucker for a cat with “Mr.” in his name, this post is just plain fantastic.
- Wordless Wednesday – Autumn Leaves AND a Frisbee – Totally Pawsome! from Alfie’s Blog – These photos are just the perfect representation of fall.
- Exhausted from BZ Training – Speaking of great photos…
- Wordless Wednesday – Dog Park Scraps from Bark’n About – The great photos continue. I need to take classes from you guys!
- Witness protection? Dogs dressed as other animals from Grouchy Puppy – The title says it all! Brilliant disguises.
- ((ring)) “Hello?” “Is your toilet purring?” from Chronicles of Cardigan – I’m dying over here. Cutest prank call ever? I think so.

Hooray! Thanks for including our coyote silliness.
Smiling’s my favorite too! (Love “Elf”!)
I’ve seen quite a few of these, but I can see I have some catching up to do. Thanks for the round up so I don’t miss out on the good stuff. 🙂

You’re very welcome! 🙂
I loved the “If I only had a brain” photo, oh boy did that make me laugh! Gotta check the others out.
Blog the Change for Animals-wonderful blog on adopting a less adoptable animal. I am proud of you. I help many get homes on facebook. There are lots of loving pets that are no longer desired in their family of origin as they age. I love the elderly pets. I have 3 personal cannine companions that are over 13+. I would never think of giving them up for anything. Your kitty was so cute. He had an adorable face! Thank you for sharing and caring. I wish all elderly pets could live out their lives in a fur-ever home like yours!!!
I agree… too many people get puppy fever.
