Happy holidays, friends! It’s time for your weekly link roundup…
- First up, your punny pet names: Norman Tockwell, Mariah Hairy, and Brenda Flea. (Also, meet Salvador Doggy.)
- Corgi with your legs so short, for sleigh-pulling duty, please report.
- All dogs go to… law school?
- Much like my own dogs during the holidays, these dogs are So. Over. It. (These cats, on the other hand, are making the most of the giant scratching post you so kindly installed.)
- Is it time for Downton Abbey to return yet? (I always type that as Downtown Abbey, which is a show I would also watch.) Until then, enjoy Breaking Abbey.
- Holiday overload? Yes, please.
- I whipped up a batch of homemade butterbeer once. It was glorious. I think I want some right now.
Finally, here’s today’s video:
Epic.

Those Corgies pulling the sleigh are just so darn cute!
Agreed!
Love that video. Must share with our kitty cat neighbors!
Wyatt and Stanzie
The Nutcracker by Kodi the cat was hilarious. I don’t know what it is about cat videos, I guess because cats are so spontaneous and unpredictable. I kept waiting for the black cat in the background to get in on the action LOL
Great post (and you gave me a great reason to go back and look at those Bella and Tavish outtakes). Did you see the bit on Colbert with Downton Abbey / Breaking Bad ?

That Butter Beer recipe looks delish! I might have to try it over the holidays. Yum!

It’s yum. You can also add a little alcohol for an adult version. We added rum. 😉
I just saw a version adding Butterscotch Schnapps. Um… yum.

Oh my goodness, that butter beer recipe is a dangerous thing to know.
The Breaking Abbey vid (combining 2 of my fave dramas! – actually, come to think of it, the only 2 dramas I watch) was too funny, and that Sugarplum Kitty – a perfect silly distraction.

I love the video! There is something about watching animals play that really gets to me right there. 🙂
The butterbeer sounds YUMMO, my daughter has had butterbeer at Universal studios but sadly I have not.

I had some at Universal two years ago as well – that stuff is so good. The homemade was pretty tasty too. There was also a frozen kind at Universal that was amazing. I have no idea how to make it, but I want to learn.
