Today is National Grammar Day. I wanted to acknowledge this important day, but I really had trouble choosing a video. So, you get two.
First, I’d like to introduce you to a cat who really loves grammar.
Next, enjoy a crash course in apostrophes from a grammar-obsessed dog.
I hope to see more videos featuring the dapper Charles. I’ll be keeping an eye on his Twitter account.
Happy National Grammar Day!
I love Charles the Grammar Dog!

As a long time champion of the apostrophe, I loved Charles and totally want to make him my own.

Me too!
Everyone should celebrate national grammar day. Some more than others, hee-hee.

Isn’t that the truth?
My favorite holiday! JK 😉 I can be such a grammar snob at times though!

I can too!
I need help with semi-colon use. Maybe that could be the next video.

I wonder if Charles takes requests. 🙂
Oh wow, I didn’t know there was a national grammar day! I feel quite bummed that I missed it though. Maybe next year 🙂
Nice. I’m totally following that dog now. 🙂

I had a mother who was a grammar phanatic! She corrected everyone relentlessly. Now I live with someone whose grammar is, ahem, less than perfect, and I have to bite my tongue to keep from being a nag!

Hahaha! Charles is my hero! Thank you for sharing this video. I hope he has more on the way as well.
I also think it’s awesome there is such a thing as National Grammar Day. Not because I worry about it all that often but I like to know the rules before I purposely break them. 😉

That’s a reasonable way to go. 🙂
Oh, gotta love a dog that loves proper grammar!
There’s this little tiny town called Hope on the way to my mom’s house in AZ. They have a sign as you drive out of town: “Your now beyond Hope.” Sigh. All the years I’ve driven by that sign, and no one from the town has ever trooped out there w/ a paint brush to fix that sign. I think the population of Hope is beyond grammar-hope!

It makes me sad that none of the citizens of Hope have gone out there to fix it!
This was just great!
The cat video should have a “mature viewer warning” and as helpful as Charles is, he needs to pick up the pace a bit!
Loved these and thanks for sharing!

LOL… good point about the cat video!
Aren’t you upset you didn’t think of Bella the Grammar Dog first?
