It’s time for another link roundup…
- First up, your punny pet name for the week: Lickey Mantle. (Bonus Pisces pun!)
- I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I just adore when the clocks spring forward. I’ve been doing my own Care Bear Countdown, waiting for those extra hours of evening daylight to appear.
- Seriously, if I wasn’t so lazy, I’d be celebrating like these party animals right now. (If I’m being honest, I’m super jealous of this crew.)
- Daylight Saving Time also means that spring is on its way. After this never-ending winter, I’m ready for some warmth… and perhaps a glass of wine or two. Or maybe a picnic?
- I’m not picky. I’ll happily accept a beer instead, especially if baseball is involved.
- Wineries, ballparks, dance studios… puppies are everywhere these days!
Finally, for today’s video, I present a dramatic reenactment of how happy I will be when winter is officially over:
True story.
Oh, and in case you missed it, here’s what we’ve been up to on the blog lately:
- On procrastination, armadillos, and more…
- I’m going to need your dog’s signature on that…
- It’s maybe perhaps just a little bit chancy, but today is the time for flights of Seussical fancy
- Caption this dog: Flower child
I know they’re usually Friday links, but I’m off my schedule lately. I figure you don’t mind too much.
I do believe that I will be dancing around like that puppy when I see grass again too!
It is nice to have that extra hour of daylight in the evening, as much as I hate losing the hour. I have far more energy and will no longer feel like going to bed at 7pm. 🙂

I love when it’s time to spring forward! Long days make me happy : ) The only downside is the mosquitoes return with a vengeance. Those Rio dogs were great. Bark More, Growl Less Barking from the Bayou!

It takes me a while to adjust to the time change, but when it comes, can spring be far behind?

We aren’t fans of the time change, especially since we are early morning creatures, but it is what it is.

I like springing ahead because I am afraid of the dark. Less dark = A happy doggie.

I usually like springing forward as the longer days are nice – but this year I’m not really looking forward to spring that much because we’ve had such a hot winter (it’s like 80 today). I know I should complain (oh, but I do…) when others have had such a cold, long winter – but I’d like it if we could have more than 2 days of winter. They are already talking fire danger, and it’s only March. Crazy!
