We’re participating in a fun event today… it’s the Happy Tails Spa Giveaway Event hosted by Two Little Cavaliers and sponsored by Happy Tails Spa!
It starts today (obviously) at 12:01am EST and will end at 12:01am EST on May 30. 2012. As you can see, you have plenty of time to enter!
This is a pretty big event – over 65 bloggers have come together to bring you some amazing natural spa products for your dogs. Each blog is offering one or more fantastic Problem Solving Products for the Modern Dog. All of the products offered by Happy Tails Spa are Eco-Friendly, All Natural, and Cruelty Free.
After the jump, check out my review of two of these products – the Comfy Dog Oatmeal Shampoo for Dry & Itchy Skin and Itchin’ For Relief, an All-Natural Targeted Anti-Itch Spray. (Although I received these products to review, the opinions are my own.) Then, sign up to enter to win these two products! After that, you can hop around to the other participating blogs for a chance to win other products. Pretty cool, huh?
First up… the Comfy Dog Oatmeal Shampoo. When I first received my item for the giveaway, I was kind of excited. Bella was in need of a bath. (When she gets dirty, we start calling her Yellow Dog.) Bella was not quite as excited – she hates getting a bath.
Bella’s assessment of the situation did not change once we got underway. However, I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t enjoy a bath unless the shampoo was edible and tasted like bacon… and she didn’t have to get wet. I thought the shampoo smelled great – it had a pleasant peppermint smell and created a nice lather.
Bella after a bath is a sight to behold. She usually runs around like a creature possessed, and she wants nothing to do with me for a while. However, before I unleashed her upon my unsuspecting household, I did manage to snap one more photo. She’s so fresh and clean – check her out!
Not too shabby, Happy Tails!
Up next, Itchin’ for Relief. Bella’s an itchy sort of gal, so I had high hopes for this one. I gave her a spritz, and I think it seemed to help. I’ll be trying this one some more in the future to see how much it helps my itchy friend.
So, are you intrigued? Fill out the Rafflecopter below for a chance to win your own Comfy Paws Oatmeal Shampoo and Itchin’ for Relief (open to the U.S. only).

Oh, fun – I’ll have to check that one out. 🙂
Oh, that looks good, except fur the wet part!
I think Bella would agree with you there!
I just love Bella’s face in these pictures! That girl deserves some bacon after all that!
She really hates being wet… she doesn’t even like to go out in the rain!
Nothing turns my dog into a quivering lump faster than water. For his sake I’ll forego the pleasure of entry and let someone else have the prize! Good luck to all the entrants!
Aw, Bella totally understands! 😉

My pups have all hated baths as well. Love how fluffy and white they look after a bath though. Bella looks lovely! She’s such a cutie.
I’m with you – it’s so fun when they’re all fluffy & white. 🙂
Love the pics! Dumpling would also appreciate trying the Itchin’ for Relief Anti Itch Spray!
I bet a lot of pups could use that one!
FYI – I signed up for the Happy Tails newsletter with my other e-mail!
Bella is hilarious! Desmond feels the same way about baths and could really use these anti-itch products. Thanks for participating in this event–I was totally overwhelmed by it and turned down the chance. :-/
I totally understand. I signed up and then my husband was ambitiously moving me to WP around the same time. I definitely felt a little behind!
Nice…I’d like to try the Bubbles ‘n Beads Shampoo & Conditioner.
That one looked interesting to me too!
Love Bella’s expression! We reviewed the same products and Cosmo couldn’t figure out why he was sent something he couldn’t eat too! LOVE your pics!
LOL! Perhaps both of them would have preferred something bacon-flavored. 😉
Your dog has such comical expressions that convey precisely how she feels about things.
Itchin’ for Relief Anti Itch Spray is what my dog really needs and is a product I would love to try. She has very dry skin and is always getting itchy skin flakes. She is also allergic to grass fleas and will come indoors scratching like crazy.
She is very expressive. 🙂
I like all the spa products.. My dog’s deserve the best of the best.. The beads shampoo and conditioner is one i would love to try. Thanks
Thanks for the giveaway! I most want to try the Dog Smog Remedy – my pooch has a bit of a gas problem!
