The other day, I was cleaning and started singing “Whistle While You Work” (as one does), and then it turned into a mash-up of that song and “I’m Late” from Alice in Wonderland. That factoid has very little to do with today’s post, other than the fact that the June monthly roundup is rather late. In any event, here are a few posts that made me smile in the month of June…
- Dinner-Video from afFURmation – Someone has been spying on Bella – I could totally see this happening to her. (Well, except for the problem-solving part.)
- Pittie Post Day: Challenging Ourselves from Bringing Up Bella – Of the many great posts from Pittie Post Day, this one really made a lasting impression on me.
- Senior dogs make us better kids: Why old dogs are the best dogs from Grouchy Puppy – A truly wonderful post.
- Dog Song Saturday: My Flea Has Dogs from Talking Dogs – I think that the howling canine chorus in the middle is my favorite part.
- Five Ways that Pets Add Life from To Dog With Love – The photo of the Havanese herd… it’s just an overload of cute.
- The Power of a Walk from Rescued Insanity – Considering that I often talk my worries out with a furry friend as we walk, this post really resonated with me.
- Advice from the Dog: 7 Ways to Help a Sick Human from Kol’s Notes – Take it from a Puggle who knows what’s what.
(Although the June roundup is severely belated, July’s is already in the works and will be coming soon. So there’s that.)
Did I miss one of your June faves? Share it in the comments!
Those are great posts from some very pawsome bloggers. Thanks for sharing!

Another great round up. I remembered many of them. But My Flea has Dogs was new and I loved it!
When I was a kid, I loved the 1920s style cartoons. I was a very weird kid. Or perhaps it was just that 1970s animation was so very ugly…
Great song, Great video. Even worth turning Lyle Lovett off for 2 minutes. 🙂
BTW, if you stopped naming the month to this feature, you could call it Pup Fan’s Peculiar Perambulations or something else and post when you want without all the guilt. 🙂

I’ve always loved that style of animation too – there’s just something about it!
My only worry is that if I rename it and don’t call it monthly, I’ll just put it off forever!
Cute stuff all around, let’s have a cute July too!

First, thank you! Koly really was a nuisance while I was sick, but he was so pleased with himself, I didn’t have the heart to tell him that he wasn’t the one that “cured” me.
Second, I had missed the My Flea Has Dogs post – awesome!

Wait… he didn’t cure you? 😉
Thanks for helping me catch-up and send me on to some great posts. I have guilt because of how behind I am reading all my favourite writers – many of which you have listed there.
Love and licks, Winnie

Great selection!
I have a feeling I will be singing My Flea has Dogs all evening. Loved the pittie day piece a lot. I also loved the post on senior dogs and Cleo. I love older dogs. They can teach us so much.
Have to admit the Dinner video was awesome!

I love your round-ups regardless of when they come. (And, to be honest, I’m glad this didn’t actually come in June because it means I’m not quite as behind on my reading as I would otherwise be!)
Thanks for including us in your round-up. Of course, once again, I’m the doom and gloom amongst such entertaining climes. 😉 I was going to say how much I loved this one or that one but it ended up being all of them. 🙂

You’re so not doom and gloom, silly!
Your round-ups are always terrific, it hardly matters when they arrive. I love the idea behind it and it’s fun to read posts from blogs that are off my usual radar. Cuteness never gets old.
Thanks for including me in the fun!
