It’s time for your No Frown Friday link roundup – let’s get to it!
- First up, your punny pet names: Snow Bite and Finderella (for a fish, of course).
- Speaking of puns, this link has superhero dog puns for days. It’s glorious.
- Fairy tales are on my mind this week thanks to this wonderful post: Six Fairy Tales for the Modern Woman. (I rarely say this, but even the comments are worth reading. The whole page is full of win.)
- What say you, Feminist Taylor Swift? Sounds right up your alley. Sing it, sister.
- In other fairy tale-type news, I’m intrigued by this story.
- I like my princesses sassy and not focused solely on finding a prince. (Listen closely, Mr. Mouse.) Too many frogs out there anyway, am I right?
- If you do find yourself surrounded by frogs, just shake it off. It’ll be okay.
- Anyway… I’m sorry, Dog Mario, but your princess is in another castle. Again. Feel like you’ve made a huge mistake? Perhaps you should just relax on the porch and just let her rescue herself.
- Maybe it’s better to be Queen instead. Or maybe it’s more fun to be a villain? Either way, I’m sure that whatever you choose, it’ll be just peachy.
In any event, enjoy your quest. Bonus points if you look this cute while doing it:
Finally, I thought I’d do a quick roundup of what’s been happening on the blog this week. So, in case you missed it:
- Is this the most interesting cat in the world?
- There’s something about Tavish…
- Do you have a hurricane plan for your pet?
- Caption this dog: Say cheese!
- How to tell the sex of a kitten or puppy, as explained by a child
Have a great weekend!
Great stuff! Can’t imagine a dog wanting to play with an orange….
Enjoy your weekend!

So the true sign of a dog lover is sticky orange juice all over the carpet? 🙂
Honey likes to run around with my grapefruit rinds after I finish with them. I have no idea why.
BTW, those fairy tales were awesome! I’ve love to see some of them produced by Disney.

Who knew? Orange juice is the telltale sign.
Love the modern fairy tales.
That video is too cute. Our beagle once tried to play with a lemon and she would dash off every time she got that blast of tart/bitterness when she’d try to bite it. So funny.

The Smoosh never tries to eat anything that’s out of the realm of “treats.” He’s so boring. 😉

Explain to me again why we spend all that money buying toys for our dogs.

Okay, I have a huge weakness for fairy tales, and you hit on one of my biggest pet peeves with Disney and the way they twist them around. And yet, I just CANNOT get enough of Once Upon A Time! I’m glad you liked Bunny and her prince. lol
The dog with the orange is a total riot!

I am obsessed with Once Upon a Time too! Did you see that there’s going to be a Wonderland spinoff?
Ok, puppy pouncing orange started my day off just right! Thanks for sharing that!

You have a marvelous imagination. 🙂
FTR, (and please don’t tell Bella I said this) that puppy in the video at the end could just be the. cutest. thing. ever. Gotta love folks who let their puppy play with an orange on that gorgeous rug, too. They’ve got their priorities straight.
