It’s been a year today since I said goodbye to my best gal. It’s hard to believe that a whole year has passed. How has it been that long since she was here?

I struggled to find the words for today’s post. Rather than force it, I’m going to go get some Tavish snuggles and reminisce about my Bella.
Missing that face today and every day.

It’s been a year and a half for us. I still look out the windows expecting to see Blue looking in waiting for us to let him in and tell him how clever he is to have found us.
This has been the hardest pain to recover from and I still feel his loss every day.

I love that picture of the two of you! I didn’t realize it had been a year today for you. Cinco de Mayo was the anniversary of Treat’s passing and I still find myself getting a little melancholy. I hope Tavish did a good job of reminding you what a special dog mama you are!

Sorry I missed this before. (We were out of town and then the hubs was having knee surgery.) I found the one year anniversary of Abby’s death to be very hard.
